On Sunday, June 15, the globally celebrated “Walk the Talk” event - also held in cities like Geneva and New York - will take place at EXPO2025!
Special supporters JO1 will appear on both the Opening and Closing Stages at the main venue, EXPO Hall "Shining Hat".
A variety of exciting programs will take place throughout the EXPO, including at the UN Pavilion, the YOSHIMOTO Pavilion waraii myraii, and many more.

What is “Walk the Talk”?
It means “putting words into action.”
As you explore the EXPO on foot, this special day invites you to enjoy the journey while discovering your own goals - inspired by the spirit of the SDGs.

JO1 appears as a special supporter

A global boys group formed by 11 people selected from 101 people by the viewers "national producers" in Japan's largest audition program "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN", which caused a social phenomenon in 2019.
The group name "JO1" has the meaning that the trainees who pursued their dreams together in "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN" will become one and aim for the top of the world

This seven-hour live broadcast will be based at the Pop-Up Stage South, and feature Yoshimoto comedians introducing the various initiatives taking place within the venue.
Together with viewers, you will aim to complete the JO1 digital stamp rally at the venue, helping to liven up the event.

While enjoying the event, we will be running a project where you can share the "goals" you have discovered on social media.
Some of the "goals" submitted by everyone will be projected onto the stage as a background for JO1's performance at the closing stage, which will be held at the EXPO Hall “Shining Hat”
In the spirit of "walk the talk," we hope to provide participants with the opportunity to experience how putting their goals into words and communicating them is an important step toward achieving them, and also to provide an opportunity for them to develop ideas about the SDGs.

This event will be held at various locations within the Expo site throughout the day.
With the exception of some events, anyone with an admission ticket to the Osaka, Kansai Expo can freely participate.
However, the opening and closing stages held at the EXPO Hall “Shining Hat” will be

To apply for this reservation lottery, you will need to purchase an Expo digital admission ticket and reserve your visit date and time, so please make your purchase and reservation in advance.

For the opening and closing stages, reservations will be accepted via lottery application 7 days in advance. To apply for the lottery application, you will need an Osaka, Kansai Expo admission ticket with a designated entry time up to the start of each event.
Please purchase a digital ticket in advance from the EXPO 2025 Osaka Kansai Expo 2025 official website and prepare with the entry date and time specified. If there are any remaining seats, they will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Details will be announced as soon as they are decided.

Even if you have a successful reservation, we may not be able to guide you to your seat if you arrive more than 10 minutes before the start of the show.
  • All seats are reserved for this event. Tickets will be handed out randomly upon entering the EXPO Hall “Shining Hat”.
    When the doors open, reserved seat tickets will be distributed starting from the front of the line, but the distribution order and seat location will be random and will not be assigned to the front seats even if you are handed out at the front.   • Customers who require a seat will need one ticket per person.
  • Guests with preschool children (younger than elementary school age) can watch the show in the Parent-Child Room in the venue. To watch the show, you must apply for a reservation lottery for the Parent-Child Room when you apply for the lottery. Preschool children (younger than elementary school age) cannot watch the show in seats other than the Parent-Child Room.
    Please note that to apply for the lottery to reserve a parent-child room and to enter the Expo site, you will need a separate Expo admission ticket according to your child's age.

    Children aged 4 and over: Expo admission ticket (charged)
  • Wheelchair accessible seats are basically reserved for wheelchair users. Those who do not use wheelchairs cannot use these seats. For each wheelchair accessible seat, one seat is provided for an attendant.
  • Please note that if a wheelchair seat is reserved but the person who uses the wheelchair does not actually show up, the reservation will be invalid and you will not be able to enter.
  • We are unable to change between wheelchair seats and regular seats. Seats cannot be changed after a reservation has been made, so please confirm this before making your reservation.
  • If you are coming by car, please check the details on the official website of the Expo 2020 Osaka, Kansai.

opening and closing stage cancellations

The opening and closing stages will be held at the EXPO Hall “Shining Hat”.
If there are cancellations on the day of the event, we will accept cancellations on the waiting list as follows:
Opening Stage

•Numbered tickets will be distributed in front of Shine Hut from 9:00.
•We will not know whether you will be allowed entry until around 11:50. Please note that there is a possibility that you may not be allowed entry.

Closing Stage

•Waiting list for cancellations will begin in front of Shine Hut from 3:00 p.m.
•We will not know whether you will be allowed entry until around 17:50. Please note that there is a possibility that you may not be able to enter.

*We will distribute numbered tickets for cancellations, but you will be given random seats upon entry. Even if multiple people are waiting, they may be seated far apart.
*Please bring identification documents. We may ask you to verify your identity depending on the situation.
*If we are unable to verify your identity, even if you have a successful reservation, you will be asked to join the waiting list for cancellations. In this case, we will not consider the order of arrival, regardless of whether you have a reservation or not.
